Built to make responsible AI adoption practical

Fida grew from a shared challenge: healthcare needs practical AI competence at scale, without losing clinical relevance.

The challenge

As AI adoption increased — and the AI Act created a stronger need for organisations to build AI literacy — Romion Health looked for ways to train healthcare professionals at scale.

Existing solutions tended to be

  • Not healthcare-specific
  • Overly knowledge-driven
  • Too time-consuming
  • Or a combination of these

The goal became something

  • Specific to healthcare
  • Practical
  • Compatible with limited time
  • Focused on behaviour, competence and skills rather than knowledge alone

Two paths toward the same solution

Dr. Boudewijn Kessing was working on the same challenge from inside hospital practice.

As CMIO and gastroenterologist, Boudewijn wanted a way to train an entire hospital and began developing Fida from first-hand experience.

Romion Health and Boudewijn joined forces to strengthen the learning model and make it available not only within Gelre Hospitals, but to healthcare organisations across Europe.
